This recipe is super easy and super fun to make with kids. It doesn't take long so you don't need much patience from the kids. The only problem is the whoops, I had to try a piece while you opening up the Rolo's or waiting on them to come out of the over, because 3 minutes can sometimes feel like an eternity.

Did You Know The Dollar Store Has All The Ingredients to Make Rolo Pretzel Bites?

Well, it is true! They do have the small snack size bags of Rolo and M&M's as well as, just for $1 a decent size bag of pretzels. You do not get many Rolo's though in the bag so I do recommend getting a few bags.

Rolo Pretzel Bites Ingredients:

  • Rolo candy
  • pretzels (I used regular, but you can use square or round too)
  • M&M’s candy

How to make Rolo Pretzel Bites?

  • Start by placing pretzels on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
  • Place one unwrapped Rolo caramel chocolate candy on each pretzel. Bake candies for 3 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • Remove from the oven and place M&M’s on top of the Rolo candy. Gently press down, to fill the pretzel with melted candy.
  • Let the pretzels cool until they are set and ready to be removed from parchment.

How long do they last?

If you want to make this super fun Rolo Pretzel Bites ahead of time (and have a strong will to not eat them all the same day you make them), you can store them in an air-tight container for up to a week.

How to store Rolo Pretzel Bites?

I recommend keeping this candy in a container with a lid on the counter or in your fridge, for the longest shelf life. You can keep them on the counter on a plate for a few days, however, the pretzels can dry out and won’t be as crunchy.
