Honey Lemon Ginger Tea
Refreshing tea that provides antioxidants that boost your immune system!
- 8 Lemons Wash and cut in halves
- ½ - 1 Fresh Ginger Skin removed
- 2 c Brown Sugar
- 1 qt Honey or Blue Agave
Boil lemons in 2 qts of water until soft, use a spoon to scoop out the seeds.
Add ginger and brown sugar then simmer for 1 ½-2 hrs.
Allow time to cool to room temperature.
Place in a blender and blend all ingredients until smooth.
Mesh strainer the mixture into a pitcher.
Then add the honey to the pitcher.
Store in glass jars in the fridge.
It will last 3 months in the refrigerator.
Use 2 to 3 tablespoons to make tea by stirring into a hot cup of water.
